AI
The oldest alcoholic drinks: honey or fruit juice and yeast. They ferment in weeks, mature in months and get bottled still or sparkling.
How it works
Measure to know
A hydrometer tells you how much sugar there is at the start and how much is left. With those two readings you work out the alcohol and know when it has finished. The app keeps them and does the math.
The rules
- Pasteurized juice, or pasteurize it first: raw juice can carry dangerous bacteria.
- No preservatives: juice with sorbate won't ferment.
- For your own use: making it to sell has other rules.
