Fervida

Where every figure comes from

The salt, times, temperatures and pH in Fervida come from official food safety guides and published studies. This page explains how we use them.

  1. 1

    Official sources first

Food safety guides, university extension services and regulations. For specific risks, published studies. Never a blog or a forum.

  2. 2

    A copy of every source

We keep the original document with its fingerprint and the date we read it. If the page changes or disappears, the copy is still there.

  3. 3

    Their exact words

Every figure carries the literal sentence that backs it, in the source’s language. An automated test checks that sentence is in the copy.

  4. 4

    The rules decide

Figures come from an engine with the rules of each method. What is dangerous is blocked, like garlic in honey, and no artificial intelligence can override those rules.

  5. 5

    Never “it’s safe”

Fervida can’t see your jar. It teaches you to check: weighed salt, the recipe’s time and the pH when it matters. When in doubt, throw it out.

  6. 6

    AI photos, labelled

Photos are generated with artificial intelligence and carry the “AI” label. They show the typical look; they don’t replace looking at yours.
