About us
Fervida is a project of Utropía, an independent software studio in Lepe (Huelva, Spain). We build the apps we wish existed.
Why Fervida
Fermenting at home is simple and, at the same time, a little daunting. Information is scattered across blogs, forums and videos, often without saying where it comes from, and it is hard to tell a habit from a safety rule.
Fervida brings together tested recipes with the salt worked out, an explanation of what happens inside the jar, tools that do the sums and an app that follows each batch. Every safety figure comes from an official guide or a study, quoted in its exact words.
How we work
The figures come from an engine with the rules of each method, checked against their sources; anything dangerous is blocked. The words, the AI photos and the design are ours. The methodology explains it in detail.
Who is behind it
Utropía is José Antonio Neto Suárez’s studio. Other apps come from here too: some published, some on their way and one or two that stopped along the way.
